tallit (Prayer Shawl)

The source for this mitzva (commandment) in the Torah is:
“…Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them throughout their generations fringes (tzitzit) in the corners of their garments, and that they put with the fringe of each corner a thread of blue: And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them…”

A Talit is a rectangle shaped garment, which on all four corners has Tzitzit strings (fringes). This garment is worn by Jewish soldiers during prayer. This is a commandment from the Torah which God has commanded. At times when soldiers are out or during war, they take their talit with them. Due to the circumstances, they go through them quickly as they get tattered at a high rate. And therefore there is a great need for large amounts of them in the army. Our mission at The Association for Israeli Soldiers is to try, with your kind and generous donations to fill the need of Tallitot for our soldiers.

Please note: At times our prices are more expensive than retail because of the higher quality we have to provide, due to the large amount of soldiers and transport ware
